Yep, day 2, Saturday, the big day is over with, and I've had a BLAST! I've done a number of sketches for people over today and yesterday, and to those of you who picked up my card and are reading my journal for the first time, welcome! Tomorrow should be fairly quiet in comparison, but I'm already getting revved up thinking of the next con, which would actually have to be Anime St. Louis at the end of March. I know I've really pushed going to Naka-Kon, but due to budget restraints, that's pretty well impossible, along with a trek to Planet Comicon with some of the Waffle Ink crew.

But I'm not letting it keep me down, I still have to talk to some potential tablemates, but I think it'll be a fun time at the St. Charles Convention Center March 27-29!

In other news, school is school, work is fail!work.. I may actually pick up an app at Best Buy again, seems they're hiring. Hobby Lobby's great, but we're really getting forced to try and push custom frames, aka the expensive shit even at 50% off..

*sigh* Anyway, I have posted page 5 of Generations on the site, and I'll be scanning the sketch I have left over from today sometime tonight. Countdown is on for two weeks from now for page 6, >D And yes, I will be trying to cut that down, I promise!

Okay, so more than two months since my last post, sue me.. It's tough striking that balance with classes, work, holidays and art sometimes.

Christmas was teh awesome, though I'm still laptop-less, sad day, I know. I did get a bunch of DVDs and some books that I'm eagerly reading through though, so yayz and shit~

Classes are back in session, for those of you not on LJ who haven't seen yet. This semester's gonna be a doozy, I can tell already.

Modern Japanese
Design II (color theory, etc)
Film Appreciation
Graphic Design II

I'm enjoying the Japanese thus far, though the 'rents were aghast that I would risk taking a language course when last semester was by the skin of my teeth. I guess we'll see.

In actual art news, a bit of something interesting~ I finally made a personal website! Yeppers, now you can go enjoy Generations on its own space, with brand spanking new forums to come harrass me on and such! I'll be updating with links to my various social networking sites, as well as *gasp* a new comic page!

That doesn't mean I'll be abandoning devART, just focusing the comics there, while posting other funness here and on SheezyART.

Moving right along (since I have to go to work in a little bit), thank you so much for running right past the 2500 post mark, I know I haven't been the most interesting of updaters, but I'm really gonna be changing that as much as possible in 2009. (*shoos away from his first post of 2008, hoping he didn't say anything similar, )

HA~! Only just over a month since my last post, >D

So not much change since the last report, I'm now working Framing at HobbyLobby, which I like way better, I'm less responsible for shit all over the store, and it's far less physical, though there's much more chance of sharp!glass coming and saying 'allo~' to my hands. A lot more math involved though, I'm starting to get back in the swing of fractions, so it's not bad.

Classes is classes, Finals are coming up soon, I think I'll do alright, I just have to haul ass and get extra credit assignment done for Graphic Design, as well as continually show up and finish assignments for Computer Art Studio.

Art wise, well, not much improvement. Some actual skillup, as today while we were critiquing a Figure Drawing pic of mine, I really started to see a 3D plane, rather than flatness~ ^^ I plan on working on a bit of something after I post this though, promise!

Apparently Waffle Ink is trying to meet up over on SheezyArt, so I created an account over there with an amazing nothing on it thus far, save for my new avvy, I'll rectify it soon enough, promise. If you're there and want to keep tabs on me (no idea WHY you'd do such a sillyass thing), you'll find me as "Nayias" yet again, thankfully it wasn't taken. (shup, I know I'm horribly unimaginative with naming, > )

Remembered my Gaia Online account, or rather, was curious as to what the hell it was doing, so I got back on there, I'll post a link to both the SheezyArt profile and Gaia profile down below, so come on and say hi. I've already had some random 20-year-old girl say hi and ask if I was single, (Which I am, ladies....: D ) ((Fail, I know. Shush.))

Went to one of the midnight Launch parties for Wrath of the Lich King, and picked up the shiney Collector's Edition w/ingame pet, a lil floaty unded dragon~ ^^ Unfortunately, I can't really go visit Northrend yet, since I'm still only a lil 61 Pally, so I'm grinding away in Hellfire Peninsula with (I shit you not) 47 Death Knights and a Priest, XD Literally, I was one of TWO non-DKs in HFP. Craziness.

Oh, I'm over on that Twitter thing too, take a wild swing at the name, I'm sure you won't need three tries. If you do, rest assured, you are full of Epic Fail. : D
